Did you know? Lemongrass is commonly also grown for the production of citronella oil used in many insect repellants and aromatherapy. We get ours from Vincent’s eco farm in Mgarr where it is mainly grown as a pest repellent.
Prep time 5 minutes
200g frozen mango
1 frozen banana
Small piece of Lemongrass (only the white bottom part of stalk)
Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend for a few seconds until smooth.
Serve in a bowl or an ice-cream cone and add any toppings desired such as coconut flakes or roasted nuts.
